Bio

Andy has been drumming since his early teens and quickly realised it is undoubtedly his lifelong passion. He has played for numerous original and cover bands across the UK, Developing a comprehensive understanding of musical genres and language, however, he fell head over heels for hard rock and metal!

Andy has an extremely high level of enthusiasm and prides himself on being the “mad scientist” of drumming. placing emphasis on injury prevention and technique. He is constantly learning, researching and practicing everything there is to know, and always bringing something new and exciting to the table.

Andy is highly committed to ensuring students not only enjoy themselves, but also improve their knowledge and playing at a steady rate. He considers “passing on the fire” to other people willing to learn, an absolute honour and unbelievably rewarding.
