Drums – Tim Francis

Tim started drumming at age 11, drawn in by rock and metal before branching into hip-hop and electronic production in his teens. Recreating computer-made beats on real drums became a passion.

After playing in several bands, he shifted toward production and now releases music as Cryptic Clues, often featuring live drums. Drumming has always been more than music for Tim—it’s been therapy. It helped him through tough times, and he believes sharing that skill could be life-changing for others too.

At 18, he landed his first teaching job at a local music shop. After years of traveling, he realised the answer had been with him all along: teaching people how to play awesome beats.
